Cool it was a jaaag

Evenin', my name's Wilf. I have a knackered Jag. I intend to drag it back to my shed and deknacker it. Something to do with nicosil liners or some sort of thing. sure it'll be fine but I may ask a couple of questions along the way. I have a socket set and at least THREE screwdrivers. Oh yes and the Jaguar is green if that's any help..

Welcome.

I reckon you have the tools sorted, might need some odd others here and there, but a good start in my opinion.

A BFH (Big F....... Hammer) might be handy at some stage.

Green is also a GREAT starting point.

What model is it???, V8 ny the Nicosil mention.

LOL @ "the Jaguar is green if that's any help." That's a Great help! Now we can tell you Exactly how to fix it! First you need one of Grant's favorite hammers! LOL

I love the expression, "denacker." How appropriate for some of the things we do here.

Welcome to the forums from ElinorB.

right. Where does one start. Firstly thanks for your warm welcomes. didn't realise this computery stuff had humans at the other end.. Will try to keep you updated with proceedings but many fires burning.. Last time I took on an enterprise such as this was a Suzuki GSX 250 motorsiccle 30 yrs ago.Couldn't afford to have it mended so bought a Haynes manual and 'set forth' That worked so Jaag, here I come. Will try to keep you posted. ( I also have a Daimler you know, oh yes, all Arther Daley, 1975 Sovereign 4 speed manual with overdrive but that's another story..
