I must be nuts but seriously considering an '06 XJ8 thats been sitting now for 9 months.It wouldn't start for owner after 10 days sitting and her mechanic cant figure it out so she just wants to get rid of it for a grand. It has lost all air in the shocks so sitting low. New tires body and interior very nice and 125k miles.

The engine needs to rotate, get fuel and have spark. How hard can that be!

I'd like to bring it home but with a collapsed suspension presumably the tires are hitting the wheel wells so how will it even roll!? I will request a flat bed tow truck but again will it roll at all when bottomed out.
