Default Jag Newbie

Just bought my honey a 2002 X-Type. It has approx 90,600 miles and in pretty decent shape I believe.

Thanks to this forum, I was able to replace the passenger low beam (had to use wife's small hands to get access to cover) and driver rear tail light using advice/info provided by the forum members. I was also able to clear an Engine Trouble light with the EQUUS 3030f code scanner thanks to forum posts.

The interior has some work (ivory leather seats very bad....), passenger map light stuck in the on position, ashtray flip cover broken, etc. Mostly cosmetic junk both inside and out and I am looking forward to sharing experiences with other forum members.

It sounds like your car was not well cared for before it came to live with you. It's good that you're putting some of those things right.

Welcome to the forums from ElinorB.
