Long time browser....now a new member!
Hello all.
I have searched google for several answers to my questions and they always
seemed to be here on this forum so its about time I joined.
I'm in Massachusetts, Lowell exactly and I got a sweet deal last July on a 2008 XJ8 with 24,000 miles on her.
She's winter gold with the champagne/mocha interior.
I have always wanted and loved the body style of the XJ8 and finally got one.
I traded a 2010 Dodge Challenger for her and I absolutely love the car. Its everything I dreamed and more.
I just wanted to say "hi" to everyone and look forward to being an active member of this group.

Welcome to the forum. Yes, this body style is so good looking, but sadly the last of the Sir William Lyons style of saloons, who laid down this style in 1968 for the first of the XJ saloons.

Don't get me wrong, I LOVED the Challenger. Awesome car and a real head turner, but when the opportunity to get the Jag presented itself..... I couldnt say no. And I've never looked back! Except at the cars in my rear view.
