Default My first Jag

Just picked up my first Jag since seeing an E Type in a parking lot EVERYDAY walking to/from Jr. High. You know, 5 miles through the rain and snow, uphill both directions. It was the late 1960s and I never got over it.

So now I'm a proud owner of a new 2014 F Type V8S convertible.
What an awesome vehicle. Under 1,000 miles so staying under 4,000 RPM. It just begs to go fast.

Howdy everyone!

PS:
My wife is getting a little peeved since I spend more time talking to it than her!

Hello, Mack,
Congratulations on your new Jaguar.
To solve your problem, buy one for her. Then she'll understand.
Welcome from ElinorB.

Welcome to the forum Idmack3,

Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.

Book a table at the best restaurant in Houston. She'll look fantastic and everyone will be jealous when they see you drive up to the entrance. Have a fantastic night and drive back with the top down. Then, when you get home ...... you can tell your wife all about it.

Follow this link F-Type - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to the F-Type forum for help, advice and information.
The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for info on regular issues.

Thanka all
Elinor..please don't tell my wine that!

Graham - Glad to be here. I'm looking forward to hearing about tech help and meeting some great people.

Clarke - You know my kids asked the same question and all could come up with is "Times were tougher back then". haha The rest is true though. Even though I dreamed about the E Types I learned that as a driver they could be a lot of trouble. So when the time was right I opted for the better choice, IMO, a new F Type.
