Default My first Jaguar

I was looking for a fun convertible for the summer and found a 38k mileage 2010 XK.
So far it seems mechanically perfect and electrical features all work.
The only issue is a leaking top. The tarp is separating from the glass window.
I took it to a specialist and was informed they all do that. In fact he had 4 Jaguars
on his lot with the same issue. For a 15 year old car with the original top it's expected.
Looks like I'll get a new top from that shop. Meanwhile I enjoy driving with the
windows down and the A/C way up.

Welcome to the Forums.

My very 1st car, MK7 Jag, did that via the sunroof. RTV not invented back ten. It puddled in the rear LH footwell, so I drilled a couple of holes in the floor, until I finally sorted it 2 years later.

NOT a good idea with this :modern: stuff, but sometimes "ya gotta do what ya gotta do"

Good luck.
