Hello! I've had my XF 4.2 2009 for twelve months and been completely satisfied. So far I have only had the oils and filters changed, gearbox oil just recently, and all works well. I greatly enjoy driving it, even more than my previous Alfa Romeos. That tells a lot.

The reason I bought just this model and engine was that this is maybe the most reliable Jaguar that exists. But now I read about timing chain tensioners wearing out and even gearbox failures. We'll see.

Here's the vehicle. I like the colour more than the usual black that everyone here has.

Hello,
Congratulations on your new Jaguar!
When you consider your car is now 11 years old, it's not unreasonable to expect a few repairs. Members in the XF section will gladly guide you.
Welcome to the forums from ElinorB.
