Default New to this forum and Daimler Ownership

Hi everyone. Bought myself a 1969 V8 250 earlier in the year needing some TLC. I am new to Jaguars / Daimlers and am looking forward to learning more about them through this forum - and undoubtedly I will have some basic questions - so please bear with me.

My name is Steve and I live in Carlisle UK.

Steve

Hello, Steve,
Congratulations on your "new" car.

I'm guessing it was converted to V8, as I've never heard of a Daimler coming out of the factory with anything but an XK engine. No matter really, there are Many of us with converted Jaguars. I'll look for you over in the Series I. II. III section.

Welcome to the forums from ElinorB.

Welcome to the forum Steve,

Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.

That's a rarity with only 4897 produced. Follow this link MKI / MKII S type 240 340 & Daimler - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to the tech forum for help, advice and information.
The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for info on regular issues.

Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

You can also visit the UK & Eire Region forum by following this link UK & Eire - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum
to find other members in your region.

Enjoy the forums.
