Default New guy from Bristol

Hi Guys, I'm from Bristol. On my second X-Type estate, and had my 07 XK for about 10 years.
Haven't joined a forum before, strangely enough I never needed to!
Had my first X-Type (3.0 sport estate) for a couple of years, drove back from Germany with (it turns out...) 3 cracked wheels! Nothing like it in the snow though.
Sold it to a friend who was going to Norway, figured it would do him OK up there.

Bought an XK for travelling, as I was based in the south of France for a while.
Best car for the Autoroutes ever! 1000 miles in one go, no problem.

Back in the UK, it is a little impractical for going to the shops, so I got a cheap X-Type again as a backup.
200,000 miles, but only just starting to give trouble.

Will start asking silly questions,as this old beast is getting a little rough around the edges.
Hope the questions aren't too silly.

Cheers!

Welcome to the forums Tazbert,

Good to have you with us.

I can see you've already found your way to the X-Type forum so there's no need for a link to it from me. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues. You can also use the UK & Eire Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/uk-eire-68/ to find other members in your region.

Please add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

Enjoy the forums.

Graham
