Default New guy. Old car. First Jag.

Hi. Yet another new member.

Just acquired a 1994 XJ40. It has great mechanicals with only a sunroof problem and one door lock misbehaving. Everything else works!

This is the first Jaguar I have owned but not the first I have worked on. I had one of the best jobs a college student could have; that being to work in a restoration shop. I spent my off-school hours restoring E-Types. Since I was the only guy they met who could do real lead work on car bodies and do metal panel work I was busy. I learned a lot there.

So here I am. Back for more!

Welcome to the forum Mike,

Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums. I'm sure the E-Type owners would appreciate your input on the old arts of lead loading.

For your current model, follow this link XJ40 - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to the XJ40 forum for help, advice and information.
The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for info on regular issues.

Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

You can also visit the US Southwest Region forum by following this link Southwest US - AZ TX NM OK - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum
