Lightbulb New for Jag family

Hi all,

New to forum and new to Jag family. Just got into the XF Sportbrake a couple of week ago. Coming from a BMW 335GT and very excited about the change. The Sportbrake is absolutely gorgeous to me and I find myself standing and just looking at it sometimes before getting in. I've drooled over this car since it was announced that it was coming to the states a few years back and was thrilled to find out, when visiting a dealer with a friend who was looking at an XE, that the $ is actually reasonable enough due to the current incentives to get into one.

Overall, very happy so far, but as with every car, I'm finding that it has a few quirks that border from mild to very distracting I assume I'll get used to them.
My upgraded 10" media display seems to work fine some days, while others it'll occasionally jerk and some days it'll jerk constantly, as in every 30 seconds, with the screen shifting/blinking momentarily. Anyone else seeing this?

Trip computer: this is the first vehicle for me that has a dedicated trip computer that refuses to tell you the length of your trip. I have to go into Eco options to see the actual time that I've been driving. Just UK oddness of design?
