Hi all just registered here so thought I'd say hi, just picked up my 2004 x type 2d sport today and so far all seems good with it apart from maybe a wheel out of balance and a tracking job

Good to have you with us.

Please add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

You can also use the UK & Eire Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/uk-eire-68/ to find other members in your region.

Enjoy the forums.

Thanks for the welcome everyone, I'll put more details about the car shortly, abs and eml light have just gone on tonight after work so I think there might be a dirty sensor in the mix

Could well be sensor. However, ensure the battery is good. A partially discharged or failing battery is very often the cause of error messages on Jaguars.

Could be the battery as when we arrived at the guys house he had to jump it off a jump pack so I'll check the voltage later
