Hi, my name is Dan and I just joined.
I have a 2005 XJ/R, 8 cylinder, supercharged.
It has 115,000 KMS and its in mint condition, works great.
As a new ember kickoff, I have a problem I need help with.
I recently parked my car, I put it in park, but the light for N (neutral) is on and it's locked in park. I turned the parking break off and yes it is in neutral.
I tried starting and restarting , hitting the break pedal first etc.
Please help, I'm in a bind.
Thanks......Dan

Welcome to the forum Dan,
Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.
I can see you've already found your way to the X350 forum so there's no need for a link to it from me. Looks like the guys agree the lockup is probably a loose transmission cable. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues.
Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
No need for a link to Canada Region forum as that's where I found your first post.
Enjoy the forums.
Graham
