Default New Jaguar X Type owner!

Last weekend I flew from Albuquerque to Salt Lake City to see a 2006 X Type with 85000 miles at an Acura dealer. I was not disappointed! Although the car hadn't been detailed and there was damage to the right doors, I got the price down to $4350. Concluding the sale, I left SLC to drive it home! It behaved like a champ (but I admit to some butterflies at the first few rattles) and never looked back. 900 miles later, I've fixed almost all issues except for the overhead console design flaw. I really enjoy driving this car and find myself fighting those urges so as to keep the miles low. BTW, I've been certified by ASE for most of the last 40 years and sell parts at an ADVANCE A/P store. I refurbish cars for fun in my 1600 square foot shop and this Jag is gonna be a favorite!

Congratulations on your new Jaguar!
I have one small suggestion though; Don't try to "save the car." These cars weren't meant to be Garage Queens. To get the most from your Hard Earned you need to get behind the wheel and drive the Car!!
THAT'S how you truly Enjoy a Jaguar!

Welcome to the forums from ElinorB.
