Default New from maryland, 03 s-type

Hi all,

i brought a used 2003 s-type in about 2006. It's a 6 cyl and had about 30,000 when bought. Now has 82,000. It's been good, few problems.

I had a 1965 s-type in the 90's that i liked a lot. Not so smooth as the modern s though, but very cool. Retrimmed all the wood veneer, headliner, carpets myself, also all mechanicals.

My main background is volvo 1800's. But have had studebakers, internationals, bmw, diamond t, others.

Current projects:
Solve climate control problem in s-type
replace wiring harness '73 volvo 1800es
new 350 engine in 1947 diamond t 509s
solve fuel problem in '99 gmc suburban diesel

looking forward to reading the treads!

Monk, you are obviously an accomplished DIYer with several species. Having been there myself, I know solving Jaguar climate control issues is no small achievement. Congrats!

And welcome from ElinorB.
