New member, thanks to the help of this Forum I just bought an 06 XKR convertbile. Waiting for it to be shipped in. Got a Platinum XKR with Black Recaros and 20" Sepang wheels. Located in central Iowa it should be something I won't see another one like it.

Started out here looking about info on Superchargers to see feasability of adding a Jaguar unit to my Thunderbird since they have simimlar AJ V8 engines, ended up just adding another car instead.

Remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

Thanks, these forums have already proven expensive, I started looking at a high mileage 2000 for a donor car and after learning about nikasil and timing tensionor issues ended up jumping clear to the 06 to keep and drive.

It sure seems that these cars are screaming deals on the used market, although they are a little hard to find.
