I am a lifetime New Yorker that just moved to Henderson, NV a few months ago. Now that I am in a good climate, I really wanted to get a Jaguar. I found one being sold not 10 miles from me. A 1996 XJ6 VDP wih 76,000 miles. I looked at it, fell in love, and bought it on the spot. It runs beautifully, albeit with a few minor issues.

I must say that I find myself driving down the road saying to myself, "I love this car". I haven't felt this way since my second car - a 1969 Chrysler Imperial - and I was a lot younger back then.

Hello, Mark,
Congratulations on your 'new' Jaguar, for which you've waited long.
Nevada is Just the place for a Jaguar. Miles and Miles of straight paved roads.

Welcome to the forums from ElinorB.

Welcome to the forum. It happens to all of us, last time I had that feeling was my 1947 Fleetmaster back in the 80's.
At the time it was younger than the Jag was when I got it.
