New Member - 2016 F-TYPE R
Hey everyone,
I've been the owner of a 2016 F Type R for almost a year now and decided to get more involved with the community
Bought the car with only 2000 miles so I thank the previous owner who just kept it in a garage for 2 years which allowed me to buy the car at a deep discount.
Old Car was a 2013 stage 3 (full bolt on) Ford Focus ST. Loved that car and I didn't think I'd miss stick as much as I did when I switched to the F Type. Automatic just isn't as engaging unfortunately. The 550 hp and beautiful looks makes up for it though haha

I can see you've already found your way to the F-Type forum so there's no need for a link to it from me.

Manual F-types, while extremely rare, do exist so you could have it all...
Make sure to keep on top of your oil changes, these cars are very sensitive to old engine oil and recommended service interval is absolutely the longest you should go between oil changes.
Also, F-type, despite having electronic dip stick, won't warn you about running low on oil. So make sure to check oil level every month or so.
