Hi, thought I'd introduce myself as required.

Im Jason and Im a bit of a car nut. I currently have a ND Mazda mx5 2017. Had it for 2 years now and am ready for my next motor. I have just looked at getting a TVR Tuscan, but have been advised that its not a daily driver. Soooo it was suggested I look at a Jaguar XKR. Mmm hadnt really considered one before as Id always got the impression over the years that Jaguars were unreliable. So after researching the XKR and liking what I see its time to get serious. 5.0L V8.....SUPERCHARGED!!! Wow. Anyway Ive posted a post looking for advice so Id be very appreciative.

I already saw your other post, Jason,
I will add that my Next Jaguar will be an XK8 convertible, in BLACK or course.
As my current Jag is a Daily Driver, so will the Next one be.

Thanks everyone. I'm looking at a 2009 xkr next week. Nice kayanite? Blue. Just 29000 on the clock. Maybe someone could offer some advice on what to look/listen for?

Welcome to the forums Jason.

Service history - with that mileage it should have been serviced every 12 Months. Question any gaps. These cars can bite $$$ if not properly maintained.

Default Picking up my XKR tomorrow.

Update, Test drove a XKR today. OMG.... love at first sight if ever there was such a thing. Absolutely smitten. She's amazing. She has all the Jaguar service history, just been MOTD, no advisories. Can't wait to pick her up tomorrow. Though it'll be a sad day saying goodbye to Molly (2017 MX5). Looking for the next jaguar weekend meet now so I can meet some fellow Jag owners and learn as much as possible. OMG!OMG!!!!!
