Hi from North Platte, Nebraska.
I found this website because I wanted to learn more about the Jaguar s-type -2005.
My dad recently passed away and this was one of his vehicles. His favorite actually, as he only drove it for special occasions and to go out of town.
The car only shows 58,000 miles.
So I want to learn all I can about how to take care of his car
thank you

Thank you....
I will explore the links you suggested...I already have realized that its not a 2005 but a 2002.5
I looked up the vin number from a link I found on here.
Thank you so much

Welcome to the Forums.
Sorry to hear that news, never a good thing.
The S type is simple to maintain, IF you keep on top of the little things.
Clean air, clean oils (all of them), clean gasoline, run forever.
Good luck.
