Hi All,

I'm a new member and just bought my first Jaguar, a 2000 XK8 automatic with a convertible top. It has a few issues I plan to work on myself, so I hope to count on the expertise of this group and will of course provide any help, lessons learned I pick up on the way to others.

Looking forward to this great experience with you all. Thanks for putting this forum and all of us together!

Kind regards,
Robert

welcome! I’m fairly new myself. I’ve found that the members of this forum are very enthusiastic about helping and advising with any Jaguar issues. So very encouraging, you will find it a treasure trove of info.
Beautiful car, by the way!
Cindy

Welcome to the forums JagX100,

Good to have you with us.

I can see you've already found your way to the XK8/XKR forum and the US Lower Atlantic Region so there's no need for any links from me. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top of the model forum is a good place to start for information on regular issues.

Please read the guidance for new members ( https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/n...ned-up-241802/ ) which answers many of the most frequent questions about getting started.

Enjoy the forums.

Graham

Hello, Robert,
Congratulations on your First Jaguar! I decided some time ago that my Next Jaguar would be one like yours.
DIY repair is what this place is all about. We have the very Best Jaguar mechanics among our membership, and they like to share what they know.

Welcome to the forums from ElinorB.
