I'm currently doing a project build with my son on a 2010 Jaguar XKR with the 5.0 supercharger, It's been an amazing journey and tough one. I signed up looking for guidance on a tricky matter. Im currently trying to set the timing on the high pressure fuel pumps but I can't seem to find the correct information, I have a copy of a service manual I got from online but that's no accurate at all, when I using torquing doing the main crank bolts I stripped the first one using the specs I was given, but that's not even the problem the main problem is setting up the timing on the fuel pump ive look on youtube and everywhere else and everything is different but they have the same motor. So if anyone could help me I really would appreciate it.

You will get better answers in the XF section as they know that model the best.
Attached is 24 pages from the XF manual about timing the fuel pumps. Looks complicated and requires several special Jaguar tools.
You will probably have more questions so do start a thread on the XF forum.

Default Timing

Thanks to all who replied. I have officially fired up the 2010 jaguat xkr 5.0l s/c . I had set the high pressure fuel pump camshaft correctly with the FOMOCO logo facing upward. There were revised fuel pump camshaft over the years, but it went on the same way, as the new style if the timing sets were being upgrade. I decided to reuse the orginal parts ,tsubaki style. Again thanks to you helped. I still have a ways to go in getting it road worthy, but it does run
