Well, here it is. It seems that is not usual to have Jag member from this country, even that there are quite number of x-type and s-type and very rarely xj, as mine

So my drive is XJ 2.7 tvdi executive , end of 2006, over the 400.000 kms (new engine putted at 213.000 kms)... It is imported from Germany and it was the car mostly used for long distance trips (owned by the company). Now, it is more car for short distance trip that is not so good as it have diesel engine, and DPF (which is btw new one) at least once a month reminds me that there is need for speed.

For me, it is my life dream to own this car. I'm not so happy as it is diesel so hopefully I will replace it with same one but with 4.2 petrol supercharge engine

A lot of stuff has been done before I get it (belt service, new EGR valves, refurbished injectors, changing of transmission oil, new DPF, new thermostats, update of engine and transmission software...). So obviously after all these work I had no any serious issues, except regular services...

Well, it is already with me almost one year so it is not new one..

 

I didn't realise you've had the car for that long.

For short distance trips you will certainly notice a big difference if you change it for the 4.2 XJR.
