Default New Member - Bucket List Item Checked Off Today

Pulled the trigger today checking off another item on my personal bucket list - put a deposit down on a 2010 XKR black on black. I found a one owner car, only 15,000 miles, no winters, always dealer serviced and still 15 months of select warranty left. Being a cancer survivor for a couple of years now, its been my all time dream car, figured I had been looking and dreaming for too long - the wife said "just do it" so we did it.

It's been almost 25 years since our first Jaguar an 1988 XJS. Went down the 911 rides but felt we were long over due to return to Jaguar, especially the XKR. So very excited to hit the spring and summer highways in the new XKR!!!! Thus the CAT2 tag.

Looking forward to the comradeship here on your forum as well as tips on ownership and maintenance.

Welcome to the forum. We decided to do the Jag thing(since I always wanted a Series 1) in our mid forties while we can enjoy it before the big "C" or something else comes along to stop us in our tracks. Enjoy your cat#2. We are enjoying our Cat #1

Thanks everyone for the warm welcome to your forum. After the test drive yesterday, even more excited and hoping to bring the new addition home within the next 1-2 weeks. Still snow here in Ontario and messy roads.

Many thanks!!

Terry
