Greetings fellow Jaguar owners! I live in a part of southern England known as the Chilterns. The name is from the Chiltern Hills which is a range of gentle hills twenty five miles NNW of London. My Jaguar is an X-Type Sovereign 2.2D Estate 6 speed manual registered in February 2007. I bought it in February 2012 and I have no intention of disposing of it for the immediate future as it suits my purposes perfectly. I retired from industry in 2006 and sincne that time have driven relatively few miles per annum compared with the 40-50 thousand I drove all through the nineteen eighties. Also in my garage is a Spartanburg built BMW Z3 2.2i Sport, and a Westfield SEiW. The last is a kit built Lotus Seven inspired car and is one of many such 'sevenesque' kits cars the most famous of which being the Caterham.

I have been a member of a UK based Jaguar forum for some years and have both given and received advice and guidance on matters Jaguar over that time. I hope that I may do the same here in the much wider world of international Jaguar owners.

My X-Type undergoing maintenance:

My Z3 enjoying the removal of its hard top in spring:

and finally my Westfield and me on a sighting lap for a track day.

Welcome to the Forums.

Not a Wagon lover, BUT, that X Type Wagon is a good looking beast.

The Westfield takes the day.

Well done.

My goodness! What a warm welcome from all of you! Thank you from the bottom of my crankcase!

Daf11e, my son lives in Neutral Bay which must be quite near you. If you see (and more especially hear!) an Interlagos Blue BMW Z4M Coupé haring around Sydney it is likely to be him! All of you folks are clearly Jaguar lovers and from all over the globe. That's fabulous - keep it up!

An amazing coincidence from 12,000 miles Jim. He married an Australian girl eighteen months ago and after much agonising they settled in Sydney near her family instead of Devon (UK) which was another option. They are both medics: she a doc in radiology, and he an orthopaedic surgeon. It means that we aged parents have to spend our meagre pensions on airline tickets!

....... better than having to spend it on health insurance.
