Hello,

My name is Bret and I live in Southern California. My wife and I recently inherited a 2004 XJ8 less than a year ago that saw most of its life in Minnesota and on long road trips. This car has 100,000 miles on it and drives like a dream. The car was maintained very well over the years and barely shows its age. It does not seem to leak anything or burn any oil. I have always done my own vehicle maintenance (short of changing tires and rebuilding transmissions). I look forward to participating in this forum and hope I can contribute in the future once I have some actual experience owning and caring for this Jaguar.
