A new member from Florida
Greetings all, I'm 29 and live in Florida. I have a 2004 Jaguar XJ8 Vanden Plas in slate grey. I bought it with 122k and it just recently broke 129k. The only issues I've experienced so far are the transmission issues other owners have had, the 2-3 downshift bark and the weird fluctuations or flare in the rpms in higher gears. Its was a one owner and spent its life in the south, overall it's in great condition. A few scrapes on the bumpers and 3 small dings it acquired as a daily driver but still beautiful. It is my first Jaguar and I absolutely love these XJs! It still feels solid and handles well even after 17 years. It garners attention on the road and parked up, always getting looks and occasionally smiles from the ladies. There are a few things that need sorting but hey its 17 years old, that said it's still an awesome car!
