I am new to forums of any kind this is in fact my first post ever. I've been a car guy my whole life building,restoring and repairing whatever I could get my hands on. My first JAG was a 1970 XJ 6 I bought it with a bad engine and got the bug. After the rebuild I drove that car daily for the next 5 years about 70,000 miles. It was the best road car I had ever owned. Fast forward 30 years of kicking my self for selling the XJ6, I stumbled on my current Jag a 1977 XJ-S with just over 100,000 miles on her. The 5.3 V12 purrs and all is good mechanically. A Nevada car with no apparent rust and euro headlights, I was done. Just needs trim (upholstery) and rubber, here we go.
