Default New Member Intro

Greetings to everyone my name is JasperSr. I own a 2008 XJ8 Jaguar. I was having problems with my Coolant Reservoir. The nipple where the upper hose connects became brittle with age and broke off. I tried to repair it but it still leaked and a message would display indicating that the coolant was low. So I had to order a new Coolant Tank in which I installed myself after it arrived. This was not an easy task. After I completed installing the new collant tank, I test drove the car and now the temperature gauge indicated that the car was now overheating! I became frustrated and upset! After searching for a solution online I came across this Jaguar Forum. Not only did I found an answer as to why my Jag was running hot. I learned on this site that there was another step after I installed the Collant Tank and that was the system needed to be bleeded There was air In the Collant tank system.
Now my Jag is running great! again and I learned that others Jag owners had experience the same Collant tank issues with their vehicles as well.

I am well please with finding this site!
