Hi all,
I am Nalle or, to be truthful, my name is Bjorn. Grew up in Sweden, where British Sports Cars was the norm. Now retired and living in Arizona. This past Monday, after years of looking, I finally bought my dream car - a 2004 XK8 convertible.
Now, after three days of ownership, I am working on a soft top hydraulic leak, hoping that my dream is not a nightmare.

I've been given to understand a hydraulic leak in 'vert mechanisms is not unusual. I'm sorry it's bitten you so soon.
I can see you've already found your way to the XK8/XKR forum with this issue so there's no need for a link to it from me. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues.
Please add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
If you haven't done so already you should add your car details to your signature to help others to help you.
