Hello everyone – After a lifetime of owing interesting automobiles, I have decided that perhaps the best way to enjoy a vehicle is to find one (or more than one) that has been kept in pristine conditions and pamper it as their original owner did. Get very personal and let it/them become part of the household, like a “pet”, and so my 1997 XK8 Convertible (black in&out) “Blackie” fits the bill.
Now, with the Jaguar forums, I hope to find help and knowledge that I will need to keep this beauty on the road and as new. Thanks

Please add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

Hello,
SO many similarities in our care of our Jaguars!
Mine is also BLACK (but only on the outside), I've pampered her and kept her in Better condition than the Previous Owner did, she lives in the garage just out the dining room door, is Definitely part of the family, and her name is Nix.
You'll find all the help and advice you need to keep Blackie happy in our XK8 section.
