New Member Intro from Victoria, Australia
Hi, Everyone.
I've been a visitor for a while, finding tips and advice for my very long-term project Mk1. However, I'm now finally a Jag driver, having just become the custodian of a 2011 XKR Heritage Edition. This is the same model that Billxkr posted about back in December last year. Apparently there’s only five of this particular variant in the country, and now we know about at least two of them. I’ve written to Jaguar Australia to request further information, as Bill did, and hope to get a better insight into my specific vehicle.
My car was first purchased in Queensland but has spent most of its life in Melbourne. It has 77K on the clock and feels like new. I’m looking forward to adding some kilometres touring our special part of the world.

Welcome to the forum John,
Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums. It sounds like you've already found your way around the forums so there's no need for any links from me.
Enjoy the XK and good luck with the project.

Thanks to All for the warm welcome.
I look forward to participating in the conversations when I have something useful to contribute. For a while I think I will be picking up the gems of wisdom from the experienced hands.
Jaguar Australia replied to my enquiry and I have sent additional info in response. They in turn forwarded my request on to head office in the UK and expect an answer next week.
Don't know why my signature didn't appear in the original post, but its there now.
Thanks, again.
