i was just given a 50’s jag for some work I did on a gentleman’s other car (I do interiors by trade) I only have a couple pics of it I took today - still trying to ascertain details as I may sell or part out.. I posted a pic of it in the general section asking if anyone might know the year or anything else - I don’t know jags but figured this would be the group to ask

If the manufacturer's plate is still attached in the engine compartment, it will tell you a lot more about the vehicle.

Welcome! With that thick A-pillar and windshield (windscreen) profile, I would venture that the car is a MK-1, which dovetails with the 1956 estimate as to year of production. Pity that it is a V8 conversion though...
