Default New member, new to Jag...

Hi everyone,
I have recently bought an XF 3.0 diesel, 2013 290bhp.
Absolutely loving everything about it, especially the smile on my face whilst driving. Should have taken the plunge a long time ago...
I am a bit baffled by a fault code which appeared last week which is saying I need to replace bank 1 sensor 2.
It seems this is a post cat Lambda sensor but I have been told there isn't one listed for my car.

I would be grateful for any help with this.

Welcome to the forums John8,

When asking about codes, always give the actual code(s) and not what you may have been told it means. Unless the Jaguar decode tables have been used, the apparent cause given by generic lookups can often be misleading.

Follow this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/xf-xfr-x250-44/ to the X250 forum for help, advice and information. You can also use the UK & Eire Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/uk-eire-68/ to find other members in your region.

Please read the guidance for new members ( https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/n...ned-up-241802/ ) which answers many of the most frequent questions about getting started.

Enjoy the forums.

Graham

Thank you Graham, although this is all new to me, I did read the guidance for new members bit couldn't edit my signature with my car details as I am using my android phone.
THank you for the links as well...
It is probably going to take me a while to find my way around but I would also like to add some pictures of my car.

Looking forward to being part of this community.
