Hi,
John here from NZ, ex UK and Spain. Had a 1997 XK8 for a couple of years.

Done quite a bit of work on it -

• cam chain guides & tensioners
• thermostat tower, water pump etc.
• rebuilt transmission after A clutch failure (welded clutch drum up - it worked)
• replaced dried out capacitors in ECU TCU and other modules
• repaired throttle body after failure
• removed rear subframe & rebuilt with new bearings
• rebuilt front suspension inc foam top mounts
• complete service
• lots of other stuff

But apart from that it's not been much trouble......
