Hi everyone, I'm a new member and my name is Cooper. I live in the Inland Empire (Riverside area) of southern California. I'm the proud owner of a 1998 XK8 convertible with 70k miles on it. I've owned this beautiful car for two years. I'm the second owner. I've been a Jaguar fan all my life and have previously owned a 1982 XJS and a 1991 XJ6.
I recently retired due to a spinal cord injury and degenerative spine. When possible, I spend my days tinkering on my car and enjoying road trips around the Western U.S. with my wife of 35 years. Tinkering and driving is dependant upon my pain level at the time, as I have severe nerve damage and pain. I do have many years of automotive repair experience (40 plus) and two sons and a wife to help implement repairs if needed. I look forward to contributing to the forum as often as I can. Cheers!

Follow Norri's link in post #4 to the XK8/XKR forum for help, advice and information. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for info on regular issues.

Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
