New Member - TX, USA
Hi Friends,
First time, long time. Lots of research and getting to know the different models was spent on these forums. Thank you in advance for all your help a guidance
We have the practical car, so I was looking for the fun car for my 50th coming up. I have a few *'s though - must fit my large frame (6'3 240), good to take on trips...more of a 2+2 for the wife and the two Chihuahua's. Been looking at everything from Nissan GT-R's, Aston's to Ferarri 612's and everything in between. This is when I came across this... what a delight. I plan on picking it up tomorrow. 2015 with 6k miles...

The other contender was the wagon...which I love....but we have the practical car. …

Anyone road trip their XKR-S? We are planning a TX to CA trip end of the month.
Nice to meet everyone.

Hello,
Congratulations on your new Jaguar!
The very best thing you can do for your new kitty is to DRIVE THE WHEELS OFF!! Figuratively speaking of course.
A 7 year old Jag with only 15000 miles on is a Travesty! These cars do Not like sitting in the garage. They need to be Driven! Your Tx to Ca trip will be a good start.
Welcome to the forums from ElinorB.
