Hi all --

New member from the good ol' U.S. of A. Jaguar owner for the past 7 years. Have had two new model XF's and now enjoy our 2014 XJ L. Having some problems with the A/C the past two summers and tired of paying $300 to have it professionally serviced (when it's just a simple freon issue), which is how I found this forum.

Hope you're all having a good one!

Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.

.

Hello, Jackson,
The only mystery of AC is what Air Conditioning techs manufacture. It's Very straightforward. Refrigerant is sold in any auto parts store along with tools to do it yourself. I can even work how to do my own!

Welcome to the forums from ElinorB.

Thanks Elinor! That's what I figured. Wasn't keen on spending unnecessary dollars, and thankfully with the help from the folks on this forum, I was able to fix my problems with a quick trip to Walmart and $37. Looking forward to learning more about what's under the hood of my XJ L and follow your lead!

Cheers -
RJ
