Hello, I have been reading and enjoying all the great posts for weeks now but this is my first time posting. I have been amazed by the great wealth of information available from all the wonderful members who communicate on this forum. I am 54 and have never tried a forum before. I am a general contractor who ended up with a 2003 XKR on trade for a job I did recently. This is my first Jaguar and it has been a blast. My wife and I took it to the top of Pikes Peak last weekend and have a months worth of weekend drives planned for the car. It is a black coupe with 62000 miles on it and is in excellent condition. I look forward to being a part of your group and perhaps even contributing something of value one day. I am a Harley guy and have never owned a car like this but my biker spirit is calling and there is no way I can leave it stock. I hope to be putting a set of nameless cats on and doing some exhaust mods first. After all a kitty needs to purrrr..Mark

Welcome to the forum Mark,
Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.
I've seen some videos of Pikes Peak - looks a fantastic drive but a long way down if you over cook the corners!
It sounds like you've already found your way to the XK8/XKR tech forum so there's no need for a link to it from me. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for info on regular issues.
Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
You can also visit the USA Central Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/usa-central-mt-wy-co-nd-sd-ne-ks-36/ to find other members in your region.
Enjoy the forums.
Graham
