New Memeber / XK8 Owner
Hello All
Just bought my XK8 6 days ago & trying to work through the snag list of things that need sorting; namely :-
Front fogs not working
Get spare remote & keys
Replace not only some of the bulbs on the centre console, but find out how to fix the little red tell tale LED portions
See if I can get the heated seats to work
Fix the flapping vanity mirrors on sun visor - seen the Reverend Sam's vid on this. Very handy)
Central locking (remote doesn't lock any doors & key doesnt lock passenger door when locking drivers door)
Fix a slight sag in headliner
Sort out the condensation in headlights
Figure out how to get the cig lighter/ ashtrasy cover to open fully
Rear parking sensors not working.

Congratulations on your new XK8 Jaguar!
All the stuff you mention is irritating, but not serious. It will only take time and attention to make up for all the years of Deferred Maintenance your Jaguar has suffered. By the time you have everything resolved, the two of you will be well and truly Bonded. (I can tell you how I know that.)
