I recently picked up an XK8 and (sadly) found out that I'll be needing a lot of help with the vehicle. I'm hoping this is a smart place to begin, and one day offer my own help to others.

Follow this link XK8 / XKR - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to the XK8/XKR section for help, advice and information. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for info on regular issues.

Remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

Yesterday I cleaned my ABS speed sensors at each wheel, thanks to the instructions on this site! Sadly it didn't fix the stability & ABS lights... so it looks like I will be attempting the ABS computer soldering fix.

Not bad for a day one member, eh???

 

Finding your way around both the XK8 and the forum - definitely good progress in 24 hours!
