Hi everyone, thanks for the great resource here.

I didn't know I was going to buy a Jaguar when I went out looking for a new car a couple of weekends ago - I just knew I wanted to look at convertibles.

I had been checking out CLK's and some BMW's. Was pretty much going to pick a CLK once I found the right car. But then I saw an ad for this Jaguar and thought, heck why not. Well, it was love at first sight. I took it for a spin and wow, it just had so much personality. Turns out it's been lovingly taken care of by the previous 2 owners and serviced by the same dealer in San Jose. So today I shook on it with owner and we'll do the paperwork later this week. It's a Victory Edition, copper black with a dove interior. Love the color and both the interior and exterior are in great shape. Now it just needs to stop raining here.

The Victory Edition is a superb spec. My last XK8 was the European equivalent Final Series in Frost Blue. I've only seen the Copper Black in the brochure but it looks a great colour option and probably the rarest.
