New proud owner of an overpriced XJ8 :)
... well, I wanted an XJ8, and it was the only available car where I live (France, close to Geneva, right across the Swiss border).
It's a 2000 XJ8 3.2 "Executive", with 109k kms now, which I think was too expensive and wasn't maintained properly, then again, I wanted it
Would have preferred a better equipped version actually (I miss a cruise control, mostly), and given its weight a few more BHP wouldn't have been amiss, but overall it's an awesome vehicle. Except when I need to park it. And fill the gas tank, which is apparently bottomless. Urgh.
However, there are several systems that aren't working such as the alarm and the seat memory, while I intend to replace the original cassette player with an aftermarket device (a Parrott Asteroid Classic, I believe), so I may be asking some frequent questions in this forum, unless I can find answers in existing threads!
