We were just gifted a 2004 Jaguar XJ8, 4.2L
My daughter's auntie and uncle thought this would be a good starter car for my 17 year old! She's very excited (you can just imagine).
Right now, we are working on transferring Title and Ownership from Florida to California. Fortunately, the car was previously registered in California, so it shouldn't be too difficult. For the moment, we are trying to get the car smogged, but need to correct a P0328 sensor code. Time to hit the forums!
Oh, and If anyone knows how to quickly ID the exact engine type, it seems like there may be several.

We had to pick up the car in Texas, so between the two of us we got in about 1600 miles on your first weekend with the car!

I picked up on it, but honestly was thinking..wait, is it possible that is also someone's actual name!? I concluded that yes, it could be so didn't say anything! 😂
