Default New X-type owner

Good day folks, new-to-me 04 X-type 2.5 owner. Needed a daily driver that can do 20+ for the amount of driving I do for work and wanted to step up in the luxury range but keep initial cost down. Have been lurking for about a month and learned a ton. Hopefully we will sign the papers this Friday and this:
will be in my driveway!

Specs:

2004 Racing Green 2.5 X-type 5 speed
86K on her
Only issue is headliner is drooping (not big deal and easy fix)

Welcome to the forum Travis F,

Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.

Looks good.

It sounds like you've already found your way to the X-Type tech forum so there's no need for a link to it from me.
The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for info on regular issues.

Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

You can also visit the USA North East Region forum by following this link USA North East - ME NH VT MA RI CT NJ NY PA - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum
to find other members in your region.

Enjoy the forums.

Hello, Travis,
We like to read when people already learn stuff in here before becoming members.
We like it even better when they come out of the shadows and introduce themselves with a name and everything!
Welcome from ElinorB.

I've moved your question about headliner removal to X-Type tech forum. Here's the direct link to it:
