Last fall I purchased a 1995 British Green XJS convertible with 94K miles that I found on Craigslist. According to the VIN, it's an early Celebration Edition. I just love the looks of the car. It had been sitting in someone's backyard for a while. As you can see in the pictures, she is in in rough shape, but I couldn't resist the challenge of bringing her back to life. I'm a DIY kind of guy and I have been working on cars for awhile as a hobby. I rescued a 1968 Triumph TR-250, so I know a little about British cars, but I am new to Jaguars. Now that my only child is in college, I have a more time to devote to this project.
I can see you've already found your way to the XJS forum so there's no need for a link to it from me. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues. Hello, Don,
Congratulations on your new Jaguar XJS!
Good Job saving that one from Criminal Neglect! If I ever get to have an XJS it will be just like yours except in BLACK!
Welcome to the forums from ElinorB.
