New XKR-owner from Sweden
Hello everyone!
My name is Mark and I live in Stockholm, Sweden. Just after Christmas last year I bought myself a small Christmas present, in the form of a 2004 Jaguar XKR, with approx. 100 000 km (approx. 62 500 miles) on the meter.
I have found this forum very helpful so far. As a matter of fact I got several Restricted Performance messages on my 1 600 km way back from the seller (in Germany), and to make a long story short, I could pinpoint the fault with the help of earlier posts in this forum to the Supercharger Intercooler pump, which turned out to be toast. The seller had to pay for the change of the pump and now everything seems to be working fine.
I still have some vibrations in the steering wheel at around 120 km/h which I will address when the spring arrives in Sweden and the streets have dried up.
Hope I will be able to provide back to the forum as well.
