Hey everyone I am a big car geek hence my username, I recently purchased a 2012 XKR-S and I love my car and had heard of the forums so I wanted to check the Jaguar forum out since that was my most recent car!

Welcome Cargeek, I think there are a number of us on this forum who would qualify as "cargeeks," including myself. Great car you just got, the willpower it will take to keep your right foot from mashing the pedal to the floor for some fireworks may be more than I could handle. I see you're down in La Jolla, I'm in San Diego on a semi-regular basis as I'm a partner in a large restaurant on Coronado Island, and I come down to get my "freebie" once in a while. There are several of us that are trying to put together some Jag drives in Southern California, maybe you can join us when we put together a schedule. Anyway, enjoy that screamer!

 

Great to have you, Cargeek! Jump over to the XK/XKR section and join the conversations while you're browsing around. This is a great forum with lots of support and ready advice. Don't forget to post some pics, that XKR-S is quite a race horse. I think the West Coast section is pretty active as well, but obviously tberg could probably help you more with that.

Remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
