Hi,
I'm craig and i live in the northeast of England. I bought a Daimler 250 V8 3 years ago after trading a triumph Tr4 after 15 years of ownership, but there is only so long you can keep a 2 seater with a growing family. And since then i've found nothing but swiss cheese. (what i thought was new rear shock absorbers needed turned out to be rotten spring hangers on booth sides) so my ownership hasnt been plain sailing. but I'm getting there raym's thread has been insperational. V8 runs well. gearbox is dribbling abit, but she's getting there. Promised my wife we can deliver christmas present's with it this year (pressures on)

Welcome to the forum Craig,

Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums. Not many Daimler 250's surviving in this part of the World.

I can see you've already found your way to the tech section so there's no need for a link to it from me.
The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for info on regular issues.

Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

You can also visit the UK Region forum by following this link UK - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum

Enjoy the forums.

Welcome, Craig! My first car was a '68 Triumph Spitfire, and my uncle had a TR4a. I don't even know what a Daimler 250 V8 is, so I'm going to have to look it up. I look forward to learning about your car!

Cheers,

Don

Proper cars!

You should start a resto thread in the tech section. Many members like to see and follow the progress on these classics.
