Newbie
Hi All.
I'm a retired Engineer, an ex-Mercedes owner and a past Isle of Man TT winner. I acquired my S Type about a year ago and I have been completely delighted with it so far. Comfort, superb performance and all the bells and whistles you could wish for - this Cat is, without doubt, the best car i've ever owned,

Many thanks for all the very kind reply's. Yes - in the late '60's I rode the Isle of Man TT races - generally accepted as the most dangerous motorcycle race in the World. Initially I did the Manx Grand Prix - held in September and run over the same TT Mountain Circuit and often called the Amateur TT, so when I won the 250cc race in 1968 I automatically qualified to race in the full-blown TT . I did 5 TT races in both 250 & 500 Production & GP and finished 5th , 4th,2nd & 1st (1970 500cc production race). Sadly, 1970 was a very bad year – the event claiming the lives of 6 brave riders.
A few months after my last race - 1st place on the T500 Suzuki in1970, I decided to retire from this very dangerous activity and I never raced again
